The Chief Clerk’s Office of the Yap State Legislature is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of the Legislature.

The Administrative Assistant will help maintain legislative records and documentation, assist with scheduling sessions and committee meetings, prepare agendas and meeting materials, and support communication between legislators, staff, and the public. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, organizing files and archives, assisting with public inquiries, and providing general administrative support during legislative sessions.

Candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency with office software and document management systems, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines. Prior administrative experience is preferred, particularly in a government or professional office setting. The successful candidate must be reliable, professional, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.

This is a full-time position based at the Legislature in Colonia, Yap.
